Millet mourns the loss of Retired Fire Chief, Al Kilborn

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our retired chief of the Millet Fire Department, Al Kilborn.

Al was one of the four founding members of the Millet Fire Department and dedicated over 50 years of service to the Town of Millet. He was a mentor to all firefighters and a pillar of our community.

In honor of this incredible man who tirelessly served our community, flags have been lowered to half mast. Our condolences go out to the Kilborn family, his fire family, and all the residents who had the pleasure of knowing Al. He was a true Milletonian.

Rest in peace and thank you, Al—you will be deeply missed!
