ATTENTION CAT OWNERS!!

Please be advised that the new Responsible Pet Owner bylaw was adopted at the September 11th meeting of Council. 

The main change is regarding cats in the community. Changes are as follows:

All cats in the Town of Millet must be licensed. If registered prior to March 1, 2025 the cost will be $30 for a lifetime license. After March 1, 2025 cost will be $100 (lifetime) for unspayed/unneutered and $50 (lifetime) for spayed/neutered.

No more than 4 cats per household, without permission.

No animal is allowed to run at large within the Town of Millet, including cats.

When a cat is in heat it must be confined.
